Starting Our Classbook

This week we got started working on our classbook . It is a book that we are making together to finish by the end of October so that we can have it printed by the end of our first session (the end of November). They are coming up with some great ideas! Some of the learners wanted help figuring out how to draw specific things and we helped by showIng a sample of that thing or by leading them through a tutorial. We also took notes of their story ideas while they drew a drawing of their story. Once they progress to the point of telling us the whole story, they will use that story for their ELA writing practice until it is completed.
