Axolotls and Democracy

Democracy in action! Our election for Monday’s class representatives went swimmingly.. get it?.. because axolotls swim?? …clears throat ……anyway…… I was so impressed with the amount of work that went into these presentations! The kids went above and beyond!

Ella gave a very engaging and adorable slideshow presentation full of cute axolotls and witty dialogue.

Ashtyn and Kylie won us all over with their delicious cookies! A gluten-free option was even provided to show their thoughtfulness and dedication to inclusivity.

But in the end, Kaylee and Oliver took the win by a single vote! Their presentation was exceptionally well thought out and detailed. And the icing on the cake was the bonus mini biographical lesson that Kaylee was able to work in at the end. Well done, you guys! Very well done!
